Yields 8 servings
1 tube of refrigerated pizza dough
1 - ½ cup pizza sauce (use your favorite)
2 cups grated cheese (I like blend of cheddar and mozzarella)
Toppings to your taste: mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc.
Seasonings to taste: oregano, basil, garlic powder
Slice summer sausage into thin rings and set aside
Prepare baking sheet or parchment paper and flatten dough to about a 9x13 size
Lay the meat sticks out around the edges of the crust (about ½ inch in from the edge.
Fold the crust over the meat stick and seal edges to encase the sticks
Spread pizza sauce on dough covering the flat surface all the way to the edge.
Top the pizza with cheese and toppings of choice
Add a layer of beef summer sausage and sprinkle with seasonings
Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Slice and enjoy
