Love this product!!!
Been getting this for years, at first my Dad made a run to a little food store on the north side of Chicago to get it then he passed and I was going to the same little store. Then the store closed and the owner retired. I goggled Luxemburg Sausage 4 years ago and found it here. Now I purchase it one time a year for all of my Children to continue on a family tradition. I have tried some of thewre other meats and found all of them to be first class, order's filled fast and always delivered quickley.
A family favorite served at holiday dinners.
This is the best sausage on the planet! Don't miss out of a great taste treat.
This Was Very Delicious with Port Wine Cheese & Crackers
Have been eating luxie sausage since my childhood and now my children and grandkids also enjoy having it as well. Great sausage!
Although I'm not Luxemburg I have been enjoying this sausage since I was a child back in the 1950's & will keep enjoying it for as long as I'm able. Thank you Silver Creek,
Luxemburg sausage has been a Meyer family tradition for decades. My paternal grandparents, who had 14 children, used to buy it from Busch Sausage back in the 1920's. The entire family loved it and they passed that love down from generation to generation. I haven't had the sausage in years until I found it available @ Silver Creek Specialty Meats recently and I couldn't be more thrilled. It tastes just like I remember it. Our family has always boiled it, peeled it, and then eaten it. Not sure if others do the same, but try it - you'll like it.
So we always had someone get Luxembourg sausage for us from Chicago. I struggled to find who would ship the memories. This is good but what we used to get was a little "drier" meaning it was hung for some time before it was sold. This has the tastes but not as defined and aged appropriately. Good stuff, though, and great price as well.
