      When I was growing up, I loved sandwiches made with a Thuringer Summer Sausage made by a competing company. Sadly, that particular product is no longer offered. But thankfully, Silver Creek offers this wonderful sausage which, for all intents and purposes, has wonderfully taken its place! The flavor and quality are such that, in my memory, the difference between the two products is minimal, at best. If you enjoy a top quality summer sausage, look no further!!

      I'm 71 years old and have enjoyed Busch's summer sausage since l was a child. Lately, it's been harder and harder to find in any store here in Illinois. I was thrilled when l went online, as a last resort, and found Silver Creek Specialty Meats from Wisconsin and learned that they ship their products. At the time, l was living in Colorado, but have now come back home here to Illinois, and I'm so happy l can continue ordering from them so l can enjoy my special summer sausage!! Thank you so much!

      Reminds me when my grandfather used to slice it up and put it on a hard roll with yellow American cheese and miracle whip . And an ice cold old style. Only in Chicago.
